The Spalding Parent Course is designed to augment Spalding teaching in a Spalding classroom or tuition session. Parents are taught the elements of handwriting, the 70 phonograms, 29 spelling and pronunciation rules and how to “read for spelling and read for reading.” No matter the approach employed in your child’s classroom, Spalding knowledge enables you to support and help your children in their literacy development. Regardless of your current base, the parent course will explain fundamentals of the English language and perhaps even enhance your own language skills.

Spalding Education Australia holds courses for parents on a demand basis. Contact us for more details.

Spalding Education International is a nonprofit corporation. It was established in 1986 by Romalda B. Spalding as a resource for Spalding materials, to perpetuate her method of teaching language arts, and to maintain the principles and procedures that make The Spalding Method so effective.
